I can't believe I already spent a month here in Sydney. And that I'm leaving tomorrow.

Summer is now slowly going away with temperatures around 20/25°C.

I had a wonderfull time here. I enjoyed the beach almost every day since I've been staying in different location at Bondi Beach.

The city has a lot to offer and people here are not looking for a good balance between their job and their life since they have it already!

At 6AM the beach is busy with surfers, runners, people doing yoga, exercising, streching, bootcamping... most cafés open very early to grab a takeway coffee before heading to work.

Same in the afternoon. 5PM is busy time again with kids heading to the surf club and then people coming back from work.

Surfboards are heading to the beach by walk, bike, car, bus, motorbike, skateboard!!

9PM is usually when everything gets very quiet. Forget about late dinner, everyone is in bed early.

I went out of the city many times to go for walks in various National Parks that can be reached by train:

  • Blue Mountain National Park (in Katoomba, Three Sisters lookout)
  • Ku Ring Gai National Park (in Berowra)
  • Morisset Park (Wild Kangaroos! <3)

The city has also various self sufficient areas wich makes the city center (they say CBD) not being the heart of everything execept if you work there.

I would compare it to Chicago where people living Uptown might never go downtown (my friends don't go downtown ahah).

Definitely a great stay here and I will miss Sydney for sure!
